Caisse nationale de solidarité pour l'autonomie (CNSA) is the French public body, established in 2004, that finances and steers national policy

supporting the autonomy of older and disabled people and their carers. Since a 2020 law created the branche Autonomie of the social security system, CNSA manages this fifth branch, funded mainly through a share of the CSG, with a budget of around 40 billion euros in 2024, making it the leading national funder of autonomy-support spending, and it publishes an annual report on the branch.
